                                                University of Calicut, Calicut University 

 

Duration : 2 year (4 Semester)

 

Eligibility :

1. Candidate should have passed a Bachelor Degree of Calicut University or any other University recoganized as equivalent there to.

2. Age should not be more than 26 years as on 1 July of the year of admission.

3.Should be Physically fit for the daily heavy load of Physical exercises and should not have any physical deformity or mental disability which prevents him/her from taking part in physical activities. A medical certificate issued by a qualified medical officer to prove the above criteria should be produced at the time of admission.

4.The candidate should undergo a selection test in written, physical fitness and game proficiency.

 

Mode of Selection : On the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University

3.Reasoning Ability

PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST BATTERIES--- 20 Marks

1.50 m Run

2.Pull Ups(Boys),Flexed Arm Hang(Girls)

3. Bent Knee Sit Ups

4. Standing Broad Jump

5. 10m x 4 Shuttle Run

6. 600m/800m Run

7. Optional Sports(Two)

PROFICIENCY IN GAME --- ------------------20 Marks

CERTIFICATES OF REPRESENTATION—10 Marks

Total—100 Marks

Fee Structure        : Tuition fee – Rs.15,000/- per semester

                                Admission Fee – Rs.5,000/-

                                Miscellaneous  Fee -960/- per year

                                Caution Deposit – 250/-

                                PTA Fund -500/-(Rs.125/- for SC/ST Candidates)

                                 

Sanctioned strength : 50 seats.
