 Programme Details

It is a 2 year Post Graduate teacher training programme approved by NCTE. The degree equips students to hold positions as faculty in educational organization, fitness trainers, sports trainers, sports journalists, commentators and sports marketing managers .

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.P.Ed. or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUPET.

Fee details and Allied Issues

Fee for successive semesters will be payable before the end of teaching of preceding semester.

Examination fee (per semester) is Rs. 3000 and examination fee of 1st semester is payable along with fee of 2nd semester or before.

For Fee other than programme fee, please refer the head ‘Fee for Additional Services/ Facilities’ of ‘General Guidelines for Admissions’ in Part C of the Prospectus-2021.

'Terms and Conditions for LPU - Scholarship and its different phases' as mentioned in Part B of Prospectus-2021 must be referred.

The term 'Programme fee' as mentioned above, includes - Tuition and Development fees; University Fee for Registration/ Enrolment, Cultural, Sports, Club activities, Co-curricular activities etc.; Fee for Additional Services/ Facilities for Contingency, Outreach, Placement, Medical, Counselor etc. as prescribed by the University.

If the Fee of the programme is reduced due to any reason,scholarship amount for all the brackets/ categories will be reduced proportionately i.e. fee after scholarship etc. will not be reduced and will remain same.

For students enrolled under Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) and/or other such scholarship schemes the University may take full fee directly from the student, and/or security amount as deemed fit by the university.

For aggregate marks in qualifying exam, refer clause 'Eligibility' under General Guidelines for Admissions etc. in Part C of Prospectus-2021.

Modes of Payment

Demand Draft/ Pay Order in favor of “LOVELY FACULTY OF BUSINESS AND APPLIED ARTS“ payable at JALANDHAR.

Cash can be deposited only at Division of Admissions at the University Campus in Phagwara (Punjab).

Credit Card/ Debit Card (only for online submission of Application).

Requisites/ Conditions

Procuring atleast one textbook for each course and carry bag in all semesters/ years is compulsory.

Question paper will be in English only but student may be allowed to answer questions in English/ Hindi/ Punjabi.

Medical Fitness Certificate is compulsory.

Students will be required to pay additional expenditure of atleast Rs. 2000 for Kits/ dresses/ uniforms of sports activities which includes Track Suit, T-Shirt, Shorts, House T-Shirt and House Shorts.

The expense on toolkits and uniform (if any) will be borne by the applicant himself/ herself admitted under Post Matric Scholarship.

The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators. In Current Schedule, only the option of Online Remotely Proctored LPUNEST exam from home is available to the applicants. There will be no option of test centre based exam in this schedule.
