The league competition is organized under BERGER SYSTEM, in this competition a team's match with all the other teams under SINGLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT happens once and in DOUBLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT the team's match with all the other teams twice.

Under this type of competition policy, any team gets enough opportunity and time to perform better and gets ready to perform well and get a chance to rectify the mistakes.

TYPES OF LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

1- Single League Tournament ( SINGLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT )

2- Double League Tournament ( DOUBLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT )

SINGLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

Under this league competition, all the participating teams have a match with all the other teams at once.

Let's say if 6 teams are participating in the competition, then we get the number of matches played by all of them in this way

                    = T (T -1 )/2

                    = 6 (6-1)/2

                    = 6(5)/2

                    = 6*5/2

      Total = 15 matches

That is, there will be a total of 15 matches between 6 teams.

DOUBLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

Under this competition, two matches are organized between the participating teams.

Let if total 8 teams are participating in the competition then we get the total number of matches in this way

                               = T*(T-1)

                              = 8*(8-1)

                              = 8*(7)

                       Total = 56 matches

In this way we can get total number of matches

This type of competition has advantages as well as disadvantages.

If we talk about the benefits, all the teams are provided with the necessary opportunities, they get a chance to perform better by rectifying the mistake and also get the necessary experience.

If we talk about loss, then there is a lot of loss of time and money, even by the people, they are not considered as a medium of much entertainment, more time is wasted, as well as the teams also have to stay at the place of sports program for a long time. something that is not favored by the players
